Safari Manufacturing CC embraces the principles of black empowerment. The Company takes its BEE status seriously and regards the realization of BEE objectives critical to its growth and profitability as a player in the South African manufacturing sector.
Safari Manufacturing CC acknowledges that it operates within the context of the South African economic and social processes and therefore will give increasing emphasis on peer leadership programmes, skills transfer, and a sustained effort to offer individuals from previously disadvantaged communities an opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.
Safari Manufacturing CC has joined the Proudly South African Campaign during 2006 and is still proud to be a member.
The members of Safari Manufacturing CC have recently bought into a charcoal briquette factory of which 50% is owned by two black partner.
Safari Manufacturing has been certified by IQUAD BEE VERIFICATION SERVICES, and is a level 3 (110% recognition) contributor for Small Enterprises, for the year 2010-2011, to the BEE programme as stipulated by the act.
The scope of our BEE scoring encompasses the following operational aspects which include:
• Employment Equity (108%)
• Skills Development (29%)
• Social Upliftment and Community Involvement Economic Development 100%
• Management Procurement 100%

Safari Braai Products are “lighting and burning” a way through the problems of desk shortages for learners in the George community !
Peter Reinstorf , Managing Director of Safari Braai Products purchased 40 Lapdesks as part of Safari’s Social Upliftment and Community involvement initiatives. Ingrid Cronje of the George Business Chamber knew of Safari’s initiative and when she read the Rotary Lapdesk article in The George Herald on 21st April , she saw that his efforts tied in perfectly with George Rotary Club’s mission to improve learning conditions in local Eden schools.
SAFARI is the official sponsor for the Crusaders Rugby Club in George.
